My engine check light came on and and my temperature gauge doesn't work in my 2006 Chevrolet Aveo so i took it to AutoZone for a free test to see why the light was on. They said that something was wrong with the temperature section of my engine. I don't know if its a bad sensor or if its the thermostat stuck open which would not allow the engine to heat up or something else. What does it sound like the problem is?. Also, what would be the best and cheapest way to figure out what the problem is and how to fix it?
