chevy trailblazer - third brake light works, but tail brake lights wont?

i was repairing passenger taillight, and touched two wires together for a second with a little smoke. driver brake light WAS working, now neither tail brake lights work, but the third (top) one does
ps. ive checked all the fuses and bulbs...all are intact

you possibly just blew a fuse it is also possible that you blew the lights that are not working
