I'm thinking about buying a 2010 Chevy Equinox. I wondered if anyone had opinions

on the 4 cylinder vs V6.? I know the 4 cylinder will provide better gas mileage. I would like to know if there's a difference in the sound (is one quieter than the other), does one ride smoother than the other....etc. I'm having trouble finding a V6 to test drive, but I did test drive a 4 cylinder. I just wondered if anyone had feedback.

I have a 4 cylinder Equinox (2010) and am pleased with it in all aspects. It is not a hot rod but a normal performing car capable of todays highway speeds with no problems.It is silent when going down the road and rides well. It is highly rated in safety aspects. AND IT IS A NORTH AMERICAN car not Foreign!

I bought the V6 after test driving the 4 cyl, it just has a lot more power. It does get less gas mileage than the 4 cyl but I am used to driving a Silverado so I am actually increasing my gas mileage. As far as the ride, one again I am coming from a truck so it seems a lot smoother to me than my truck ever did.
