My radio/cd player to my 2005 Chevy Tahoe wont eject the CD.?

Every time I hit the eject button to eject the CD that is stuck in my CD player the CD player makes a noise like it's trying to eject the CD but the CD does not come out. How can I fix this problem?
Is it an alignment problem?
