What exactly is it doing? Is the engine just turning or does it not even make a sound? Check the fuses. Check for fuel pressure. I know there was an issue with the ignition switches in those years where the lock cylinder does not recognize the key. The fuel pumps are about 250.00 since its the whole sending unit.

Hope this helps.

no. Fuel pumps cost 50-80 bucks for manual and maybe 100 for electric ones. Takes less than a 1/2 hour to do. Shop will charge 150 to do it. But did you trouble shoot ?. Bad plugs, loose connection, bad solenoid on starter. If its a relay they are hard to find due to the fact your car may have more than one, Best bet- take or tow for service. Why buy the wrong part. Parts store do not take returns on electic parts. Next car make it a Toyota, a reliable car.
