2002 Chevy Impala no sound through speakers and no chimes?

Help! I have a 2002 Chevy Impala and the radio turns on and I can see the stations but there is no sound in the speakers at all. Also, the chimes aren't working for the message center. Is this maybe a fuse or is it a chip somewhere? I really miss listening to the radio and the chime telling me that I'm low of fuel. lol
Do I search my specific problem on the website?

It sounds like the radio has gone bad. The chimes are generated by the radio. It could be the speakers have those tested but more than likely the radio needs to be replaced.

Sounds like a problem with the radio output. Check on a cheap head unit from Walmart and a wiring harness adapter.
