...opinion or this truck? thinking about buying a 2005 chevy colorado 4 cylinder regular cab truck and wanted input from people who have owned this truck or the 2004 and 2006 model will appreciate ur input

Piss poor gas mileage and worse performance. Have a 2006 and disappointed in entire truck. Squeak in dash that dealer cant find or fix even though it has been there 4 times for it.Called GM about all problems and got less than nowhere. Going back to Toyota even though they are pricier. This is the worse truck I ever owned and that is saying allot

They are pretty good lil trucks. I would suggest trying to find a used s10 though. If you are wanting good highway millage get the 4 cylinder but if you are in the city mostly get a 98 or newer s10 with a 4.3 v6 those are stout lil trucks and they get the same in city as the 4 cylinders. I recommend the s10 bc its cheaper but just as good if not better.

If you go with the 4 cylinder get the 5speed the automatics gas mileage will not be as good. I have sold a few with no complaints in fact or parts truck is a colorado 4 cylinder 5 speed. Don't go with the 2004 models they tend to have some 1st year squeaks and rattles and if you go extended cab or crew do not get a 4 cylinder.
