I just bought this 95 Tahoe and the 4 wheel drive isnt working. Here is what I have done so far. I found 4 wires on the passenger side engine compartment burnt causing the 4 wheel drive fuse to blow. I repaired and replaced the bad section of wires. I have power at the 4 wheel drive shift actuator on both harnesses. when I put the truck in 4wd the light shows the front axle engaged. the front drive shaft is turning but the front diff is not engaging. I removed the actuator and watched it to see if it works and nothing happens. I bought a new front diff 4wd actuator and it still doesnt work. Can anyone tell me if their is a relay or switch that might have burnt up when the wires arched and melted? Or does anyone know where I can get free schematics of the 4 wheel drive system. Thanks
