should i buy a 1998 or 1999 chevy 2 dr tahoe or something else?

are the 2 dr tahoes popular, will the value be high for these trucks, my cousin said i could buy his for 3900 it runs real good and is in very good condition with 110000 miles on it, he told me they usually sell for more than that because chevy discontinued them,

Well let me answer your first question. For 3900 the tahoe is probably not good deal.The value of a good condition 2 door tahoe is only $2485 with the minimal features. I would also have a mechanic or a knowledgeable friend check it out first because with that many miles you may end up paying alot more for a major repair. For your second question, just because chevy discontinued the 2 door tahoe does NOT make it any moe valuable. In fact the 4 door version will usually sell for around $1000 more than a 2 door version of the same year. If you do end up purchasing the tahoe you may want to consider the fuel economy. at about 12/15 at best, its going to cost you more money to drive than a smaller truck. I would seriously consider a 2 door chevy blazer if I were you. They usually sell for around $500 less than Tahoe's and have much better MPG at 14/19 with a H.O V6.
