When it rains overnight and my car sits, in the morning after I start it and let it warm up, it sputters out. The RPM needle will settle down to 1, but once it hits that, it falls quickly to zero, zooms back up to about 1.5. It does that a couple of times, then totally cuts off. If I try to start it right away, it sputters, and it sounds like its choking. I'll give it gas, but that only makes it shimmer, shake, sputter and not start. I have to wait AT LEAST 10 minutes after it cuts off, then after that, I'll start it and it starts like nothing ever happened. IT'll run the whole day just fine, regardless if it is still raining throughout the day or not. I have no idea what is getting wet under the hood or under the car. Some have said its the oxygen sensor, some say the idle something or another, coil pack, spark plugs, water in the tank, and everything else. I need help! It is so unpredictable, because sometimes it will actually run in the mornings with NO problem at all!
