Home Depot is your store. You can get paint, edging (for the body kit), pipes (for the cold air intake) and more!

A good sound system is not a cheap suggestion. Body work will most likely not make any difference in performance. If you put in a $1000 sound system in your Cavalier, you can expect about 10% return on you investment after five years. Better to skip it. If you want real performance and economy, buy a another newer car like a Malibu Hybrid. Or a Honda or Toyota Hybrid. That's where the technology is.
Sometimes fuel economy if you are interested in doing better than a Cavalier.

You can remove the air filter element for better performance on acceleration/fuel-saving

Where I live, magnetic laminates for visual enhancement is available, and many shops provide audio advice and upgrading, to suit budget, too
