Why are Chevy's Aveo and Honda's Fit bragging about 33mpg? ?

How spectacular is that gas mileage? Other models with automatic transmissions in recent years have gotten about that much fuel economy (like the Chevy Malibu, Hyundai Elantra, 4-cyl. Honda Accord). These (Aveos and Fits) are small cars, and 33mpg does not seem like a drastic improvement in fuel economy.

I agree. 33 mpg is a bragging right on a full size sedan or pickup or suv. But for a car that size it SHOULD get that kind of gas mileage, if not better
