My 2005 Chevrolet Aveo keeps shutting off when it's put in drive. Why? If I am sitting in park, it stays on but the exhaust is barely blowing out air (like a put-put) and there's a little bit of water (not much) coming out...not sure if that's normal. So when I put the car in drive, I hit the gas and the car wants to shut off and it doesn't want to accelerate. There's also a weird smell occasionally...it smells like maybe a rotten egg. Any mechanics out there that can tell me what I can do? I took it to a mechanic and they changed the timing belt, water pump, oil valve cover, and spark plugs but it seems to be worse now. Thanks.
