the bendix wont disengage and it grinds when i try to start it i have tried shiming it multiple combos and it made it grinds worse ive tried three different starters and two flywheels and no luck what do you think could be wrong?
the bendix retracts when i loosen the starter with the power still connected and it does the same stuff without the shims
the motor is a 350 freshley rebuilt with less than 200 miles on it the starters have all been for small blocks
