I had a 95 and absolutely loved it, but it didnt have the 3rd seat installed. Now have a 2001 ex cab silverado, and not enough room for kids AND gear. I really want a 2001 Tahoe. I had a suburban, and its like driving my full size truck... a pain to park, dont fit thru drive thrus, etc. The Tahoes have the same amount of seating but with the sportier size.

Is there any room behind the 3rd row seat for grocieries, and a stroller? Ive been trying to look at online pictures, and cant really tell. Also I noticed its like the Suburban, where you have to fold down the backseat for the kids to access the 3rd row...that means you cant ever put a carseat there.. And i suppose only kids who can buckle themselves in would ride in the 3rd row. I certainly wouldnt want to climb back there with babies/toddlers!

Just wondering people's opinions on the truck, especially people with kids (and dogs, and hunting/camping gear, and road trips to the beach......)

Thanks
Thanks, Adrien! It looks like I could remove the skinny middle end seat, and put the one behind it in, and be set!

I found this photo..it looks like there's quite a bit of space behind the 3rd row seats:

It also looks like the 3rd row is removable, so if you ever needed extra room you could always just take a seat out.

Hope this helps!
