i have an 85 chevy 350 and want to put it in my 99 tahoe...the 95 is non vortec

and my old one is vortec..? will it fit or what do i need to switch it over...i think all i need is a fuel pump block off plate put my vortec heads on the motor and a relocation kit and that should be it i believe...will i need anythingelse

intake wont fit you'll have to hone out the bolt holes an with a file that can take a while besides that it will work i've done it before same engine

the heads will not fit the angle of the intake is different and not all of the bolt holes line up in the block.
only other way is to put an old style fuel pump in it and bypass the computer. but nothing in the dash will work. did it once but it was never really right and if 4x4 good luck wont work.
