How do i drive faster then the governor limit on my 2000 Camaro?

I have a 2000 camaro t-top, V6 (unfortunately not V8) i want to know how can i drive faster then the limit of the governor. What is the fastest this car will go with the governor?
Are there any special ways i can press the gas so it overrides the governor?
I've been told i could get a processor, but i have know idea about mechanics... where could i buy one of these- please list some brands, types and names.
I heard processors were difficult to install is this true?

Aside from the governor how what addictions can i add to my camaro to make it faster?

They put governors on there for a reason.That is so some people will not go to fast and kill them selves or others.If you want to speed go enter a race on a track some where.

well the best way to bypass a govenor is to remove it.
have it removed, and have a shop reprogram the motor.
before they do that you could add some basic bolt on power adders, that will squeeze some more power out of that v6.

first exhaust; i recomend headman or flowmaster.
replace the headers, i would go with flowmaster, and get a off road midpipe, with some flowmaster super 44's mufflers.

Intake: bbc throttle body. and air intake. you could replace the intake manifold but that a bit more pricy, i would go with edlebrock on that.

extreme: ok and if your real intence about more power, you could
replace the heads, edlebrock makes good heads, replace the camshaft, i would go with comp cams, replace the crankshaft, i would go with comp again. and then theres always forced induction, and N2O. installing a turbo will give you insane power but will cost around $4K for parts and installation. nitrous, is alot of power for a little price, be carefull though this shit will trash a motor quick if not done right. if you want nitrous, you must replace all the things mentioned in exhaust and intake, its alot of stress on your motor but if built right a 50-100 shot will give you an extra 100 hp and wont do any damage.

so after you get your add ons they would need to tune your car to its new capibilities, and so you can have it tuned after you remove the govenor and strap on some sick bolt ons.
