It's got a 305 TBI motor
The RPM gauge has never worked since IVE owned it, since May 2008.
I've bought a new to me RPM gauge that was tested and in good working order, I saw it with my own eyes. I swapped the old out for the new, but it still does not read. It acts like it's going to when you first start the car, but then quickly slides to the right, stays there, and does not read. The car runs and shifts fine. Any ideas on how to get this TACH to work, or where the real problem lays, please let me know, all advice is welcome! Thanks!
