For starters, what kind of wheeling do you plan on doing? Mud bogging? Rock Crawling or Desert Racing? You need to know that before you decide on what type of tires/locker you should get. If you're going to just be an occasional wheeler, I would personally install the ARB Air Lockers. The main advantage to air lockers is you can turn them on when you need them on the trail, but for daily driving they are not engaged. As for a tire brand; Go with a known brand such as BFG, Mastercraft, Pitbull things of that sort. Your local tire shop can advise you on whats currently available at a reasonable rate in your area. For mudding tires, you want a tread pattern with large lugs and plenty of room for the mud to clear out of. Rock Crawling is a similar pattern for the grip that they provide. For gears, in my Crawling rig I run Yukon. I purchased them from from Randy's Ring and Pinion http://www.ringpinion.com/ The main thing you want to remember here, its better to spend a few extra dollars and get what you need rather than spend less and get what will work.
