I have a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 extended cab making strange noise?

My 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 extended cab is making a strange sound like a cracking, or tapping sound from underneath it but only when I accelerate from a complete stop. Can anyone help me with this please?
P.S. it is not the transmission because it was just replaced
