what are some swaps i could put in a 88 chevy automatic cavalier?

i have a bone stock 88 cavalier and i need to know what engines are good for racing and how much they should be thanks

take your oil dip stick out, back the car up and sell it. Drive an old muscle car with some power back underneath and replace stick.

You also will spend the same amount of money doing this as you would replacing the engine.
