02 Chevy Tahoe Cassette Player Spits Out Tape?

I own a 02 Chevy Tahoe that when I put my cassette that connects to my ipod into the casette player the display says CLN (clean im guessing) and it will play from 10 sec-5 minutes then just spit it out. I have bought a cleaning tape and done that twice, but it has not helped. Any ideas?

Read your manual. After you clean it, you have to hold one of the buttons down for a few seconds to clear the message. I don't remember which one. If you don't do it, the tape deck will not reset.
