I just put in 2 new Oxygen Sensors last thursday the 6th of november on my Impala and the check engine light still has not gone off, should I take it someplace to have them reset the system or it will cutoff by itself?

You can reset your own computer.
Just take the battery cables off for 15 minutes and it will go away.
If it comes back on then you might want to get an engine diagnostic. That's anywhere from $60-$100
Good Luck.

All you need to do is unhook the negative battery terminal and leave it unhooked for 10 to 15 minutes and hook it back up. If this doesn't reset it, take it to a garage.

If the o2 sensor was the problem, then the light will go out after 3 or 4 days. Or you can pay to have it turned off, whatever you like.

unplug the battery for 30 minutes. It will reset the codes and also your radio preset stations!

Yes have them reset the stored code in the ECM.
