What kind of antifreeze do I use in my 2002 Chevy Avalanche?

I just moved to Salt Lake City, UT from Orlando, Fl. I have never had to worry about putting anti-freeze in my car before. What do I do first? And at what point should I put anti-freeze in my truck. The fluid thats in there now looks pink. I s this a mixture?

It does not matter. When is the last time you changed it or had it flushed? If not in the last three years, you should get it all done and have the thermostat changed at the same time.
