So...
It's not my car... so I obviously don't know EVERYTHING that's going on here...
But here's what I know....
It's a Manual...
it's an 02 camaro..
he bought it 1.5 years ago...
What happens is, when he takes off, or just pressing on the gas period, the car sputters, and even jerks pretty hard.
So, to ease the sputtering he's throwing it into 2nd (and then 3rd and 4th) earlier so that the sputtering will lighten up... it does it on the highway as well, so speed isn't the issue either.
we've been googling and think it has something to do with a fuel ______ (fuel injector, or pump, or filter, or something).
Any pros out there?
Or anyone whose dealt with this problem before?
ALSO, anyone know of a price list it would take to fix the problem?
