No, too many inefficient gas guzzlers are ruining this country. The 60s are over, gas is at $3.50 a gallon...Get your head out of the stone age.

Ok the reason GM is making cars in Mexico and Canada is Because people work for a decent amount of money instead of UAW here in America sucking a company dry by asking for higher and higher wages until the company cant afford to pay them and they go bankrupt and no one has a job.I will have to disagree that the Prius is ruining this country it pollutes less and saves gas!But the idiot Samantha Jensen That saysThe Prius is made in this country and given hundred of thousands of American jobs in Detroit and throughout America IS AN IDIOT THAT KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT CARS AND SHOULD NOT OWN A COMPUTER!The Prius is assembled in Tsutsumi,Japan which is nicknamed Toyota City.If you want American jobs you work at GM,Ford,or Chrysler That Has there HQ here and has plants in Texas,Michigan,Indiana,Maryland,Kentucky,Ohio,Virg inia,New York,Louisiana,Missouri, and Delaware That are still open and manufacturing Cars,Trucks,SUVs,Engines,Transmissions and Other components.

I agree the Chevelle is legendary a legendary dinosaur with no air bags and other safety features such as anti-lock brakes. The Prius is made in this country and given hundred of thousands of American jobs in Detroit and throughout America. GM cars are made overseas such as Canada and Mexico so who is really helping the American people? GM is helping itself and can care less about the American people. It gets billions of dollars every year to save itself from bankruptcy by our government and they never produce a decent car to compete with the Japanese. The Japanese automakers never get a bailout and still kicking ass because they build cars that last and last.
Do You Buy American?

well i'd tell you to buy a ford, but at least you will still support an American company with the Chevy.
i don't understand why anyone would buy a prius. they are ugly as heck and look like the cheapest cars on the planet. american cars really show what a car should look like. and if you are that concerned about being green, then get a ford escape hybird or another small car like the ford focus or even a chevy malibu which still get great mileage.
to all of you foreign buyers out there, don't even worry about talking when asked about the economy.

How in the world did you come to that sparkling conclusion? How does a hybrid car ruin a country? By using less gas? by generating less pollution?

I kinda know what you mean, but how can you possibly compare those two cars? There's nothing wrong with driving a Toyota Prius if you want to save money on gas. It just bugs me when people are making huge car payments on a new gas saving automobile and then brag about their mpg. Anyways, there's economy cars from the 80s that get the same gas mileage as a lot of these newer hybrids do.
Most guys who own Chevelle's only drive 'em about once or twice a week if the weather is good. Sixties/70s big block muscle cars do suck quite a bit of gas, but who cares?! If you were shopping for a 1969 Chevelle SS 396 as a recreational vehicle would you say Oh shoot, it only gets 13mpg? The fuel economy doesn't matter as much to real car guys because the 'fun factor' completely over weighs that.
Who cares what Prius owners think? Are you going to criticize them on the types of novels they read?

That's like saying Whats better: A plate of Spaghetti or a Crescent wrench?
Both are good in their own right, though hardly comparable.
