I want to restore a 1964 or 1965 Chevy Impala but I don't know where to start. Well obviously I need to start by buying the car, and living in Los Angeles I feel I have an advantage. I want to fix it up nice but not like a big hunk with huge rims, with a nice paint job, rims, and hydraulics. Like the one that Dr. Dre is driving in the video Nuthin But A G Thang. So where do I start, where do I go? Do I go to a place that specializes in restoring cars? Or to a Chevy dealership? Also, if I'm planning to restore this car, how much money should I expect to waste?
