...vibration)? I have a 87 camaro 5.7 liter 350 small block. When i accelerate there is a heavy vibration and also a lack of power but in 4th gear no vibration or while coasting no vibration. i put in neutral or park and vibration is still felt. seems like a misfire but i changed the spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Now the coolant temp gauge is fluctuating all over... which is probably caused from vibration (ect)
I replaced the wires and then the vibration occured...
Firing order is correct. wires crossed? no i moved them around and all good. The car ran fine and all was good untill i was rodding or accelerated fast.
What would cause the low compression in one or more cylinders?
Fuel pressure is at 40 psi changed the fuel filter and i sprayed the wires but no arcing. Is it possible a rotor went bad in 500 miles, cracked distributor, or the distributor went bad or jumped?
