ok well the 4 sure best way to do this so that you would know perfectly. fill the tank up (record millage at fill up), record the gallons, drive like you would anyday, when its back to empty, devide the millage by the gallons used. = miles/gallons=mpg!

but if your just looking for refrence it depends on your engine.
r u a v6, or v8, a 305, or a 350.

305 v8- 15 mpg city/town 18-25 highway(depends on how smooth she drives)
i own a 91 camaro 305 v8. she gets about 18 city, and 20-25 highway. but dont expect that unless you take good care off your engine and what not.

few tips to save fuel.
new filter, good air in tires, little weight as possible, smooth acceleration.
