There are three problems I've noticed:
1. The temperature starts going up when the car is in park or idling. It goes back down once I start driving.
2. Sometimes it takes a couple turns of the key for the engine to start. It almost starts, but just doesn't power up. It usually does on the second try.
3. This just barely started happening within the last week: If say, I'm stopped at a stop light, the engine seems to lose a bit of power. Almost like a slight puttering. It also does this as I'm accelerating out of the stop.
I'm COMPLETELY clueless as far as cars are concerned. I need some suggestions as to what it could be so I'm not screwed over by some mechanic. Thank you!
