You don't buy a car like that and worry about gas mileage. It's not going to be your only car is it? If so and your worried about mileage,pass on it.It's not for you.

I had a '70 Chevelle SS-396, it got about 18 mpg on the interstate running 70 to 75. In town it would eat your shorts! If you are worried about gas mileage.......pass it up the car is not for you.
